To configure a MariaDB data source in Tableau, follow these steps.
1. Install Tableau #
Go to the official Tableau and download the Tableau Desktop application on your computer.
2. Connect to a data source #
Download MariaDB ODBC Connector if you don’t already have it. In the official page you have a short follow-up on how to install the connector.
Once installed, configure the connection in Tableau by following the instructions in the video below. Remember to replace the video connection details with the login information provided in the email we sent you.
Remember to enable the ‘Require SSL’ option and upload the provided .pem file as it is required to make the connection.
