Take advantage of all the possibilities offered by Iristrace to evaluate the score of your checklists.
In the templates you can set up a percentage score or by the sum of the weights, and evaluate it at the category or global checklist level.
The weights that are posted in the questions are associated with the answers.
You can also set weights to categories if you prefer.
Ratings can also be negative and will subtract from the total per category and total per checklist.
The type of scoring is configured at the template level in the “Data” tab:
You have different options to count the weights configured in your answers:
Types of scoring in template #
No valuation #
Scores do not apply, even if you define them in each question or category.
Arithmetic mean without weight (%) by categories #
Equal distribution of the % by the number of categories; the average of the checklist is calculated on the basis of the averages per category.
Each category will have the same value and final weight, regardless of the number of questions in each category. The averaging is done by the number of categories.
Add (+) #
Overall sum of all the points (without percentage) of the answers, obtaining a real score with respect to a total score.
Arithmetic mean with weight (%) by categories #
The weight set per category is taken into account to calculate the average of the checklist.
Therefore, the distribution of the total % score is applied on the basis of the distribution of the weights configured in each category.
In other words, one category could be 50% of the total evaluation of the checklist and the rest of the categories could share the other 50%.
Unweighted arithmetic mean of all questions #
An arithmetic mean of all answered questions is calculated for the whole checklist.
Advanced Scoring #
If despite all these options you still need a more complex scoring scheme, you have the possibility to configure an advanced scoring which you can check in the following article.
